Navratri Day 2 – Maa Brahmacharini
On this second day of Navratri, devotees worship Maa Brahmacharini, who represents tapasya (austerity) and inner strength. She holds a rosary (japamala) in one hand and a kamandal in the other, symbolizing meditation and sacrifice. Worshiping her blesses devotees with wisdom, endurance, and spiritual growth.

Chandra Darshan / Sindhara Dooj
Today also marks Chandra Darshan, the first sighting of the moon after Amavasya. Many families offer prayers to the moon for prosperity and peace. In some regions, Sindhara Dooj is observed, where rituals are performed for family well-being.
